Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and andreo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Augusto forces Santos back against the cage and clinches.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Augusto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Santos to the mat! Santos manages to get full guard.
Augusto postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Santos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Augusto, into his guard.

Augusto drops back looking for a leg! Santos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Santos manages to kick Augusto off! Augusto jumps back into Santos's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santos is looking to stand up but Augusto isn't so interested in that idea.

Augusto decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Augusto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Santos is looking for a sweep. Augusto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Augusto is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Augusto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Santos's guard.
Augusto postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Santos to stand up.
Santos moves forwards but Augusto connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Augusto darts in and clinches Santos up against the cage.
Santos gets underhooks to prevent Augusto's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Augusto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Augusto jumps guard and drags Santos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Augusto wants to sweep but no luck.
Santos lying in Augusto's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Augusto decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Santos taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
