Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Gunnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaiah Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Gunnarsson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunnarsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chambers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chambers shoots in and gets a takedown into Gunnarsson's guard. Gunnarsson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chambers is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gunnarsson. Gunnarsson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. You can see the frustration on Gunnarsson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chambers is looking to take a break and control but Gunnarsson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gunnarsson is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Gunnarsson is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gunnarsson can do anything to dispel that myth. Chambers trying to control the position but Gunnarsson is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chambers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gunnarsson, who protects the arm well. Gunnarsson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gunnarsson seems a little lost for a moment, as Chambers dominates the positioning. Gunnarsson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gunnarsson is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Chambers is staying active. Chambers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gunnarsson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Chambers decides to stand back up. Chambers throws a body kick that misses. Chambers slips a jab and a cross from Gunnarsson.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Chambers. Gunnarsson pushes Chambers away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chambers gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Chambers working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chambers is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gunnarsson's shoulder. That is not cool. Chambers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gunnarsson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Chambers lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Gunnarsson tries to improve position but can't. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gunnarsson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Gunnarsson wants to control but Chambers postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gunnarsson wants to get up but he can't break Chambers's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Isaiah Chambers will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Gunnarsson did well to prevent Chambers getting side control. Chambers is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Gunnarsson pushes Chambers off looking to stand but Chambers dives back in and keeps control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chambers lands a nice short elbow. Chambers is figuring out what he wants to do next. Chambers looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gunnarsson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers passes to full mount! Gunnarsson tries to hold on but Chambers pushes him away. Gunnarsson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Gunnarsson working to try and regain half guard.

Gunnarsson tries to lock up and control but Chambers gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Chambers landing strikes, looking to finish! Chambers content just to control the position here. Chambers is looking to stand but Chambers has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Gunnarsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chambers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gunnarsson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Chambers.
This has been an exciting period of action! Chambers is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gunnarsson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
