Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Putting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlon Toepoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Toepoke gets a clinch.

Toepoke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Toepoke scores with a head kick.
Paddy Putting seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putting swings widly with a right hand
and Toepoke counters with a slapping leg kick.
Putting throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Toepoke counters with a big head kick but Putting shrugs it off.
Putting throws a poor cross that misses
and Toepoke counters with a body kick.
Putting is breathing heavily.
Putting misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Toepoke to counter with a crisp jab.
Putting rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Toepoke counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Putting's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Toepoke is standing up over Putting. Putting looks to escape but Toepoke dives into side control.
Putting knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Toepoke on the ground.
Toepoke slows the pace down.

Toepoke decides to stand up, so the ref orders Putting to his feet.

Toepoke shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Toepoke landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Toepoke trying to control the pace.
Putting might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Toepoke works his way into full mount!
Toepoke is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Toepoke looking to control and managing it successfully.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Toepoke lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Toepoke with shots to the head and body - Putting looks very uncomfortable down there.
Toepoke lands a heavy elbow.
Toepoke looking to finish Putting with some ground and pound. This is bad for Putting!
Toepoke controlling the position easily from mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
It looks like Toepoke might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
