The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Don circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dela Cruz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Don looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Don tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dela Cruz.

Dela Cruz is looking for a sweep. Don is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Don is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dela Cruz is just riding it out for now. Don eventually gives up the hold.

Dela Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Don swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dela Cruz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Don sprawls well. Don wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dela Cruz gets slowly back to his feet.

Don has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dela Cruz uses from the top position.

Dela Cruz regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Don.

David Don showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Don has Dela Cruz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Don pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dela Cruz tumbling to the mat - Don dives into Dela Cruz's guard.

Don thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Don is trying to control. Dela Cruz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mark Dela Cruz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
David Don is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

David Don comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Don has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
