The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crouch looks to land a combination but Styles avoids it well.
Peter Crouch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Styles has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Styles there as he acknowledges the shot.
Crouch misses with a body shot.
Crouch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Styles attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Crouch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Styles manages to avoid it.

Styles throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Styles fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Crouch is out of range.
Styles shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Crouch connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Styles uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Crouch tries to bum rush Styles with a series of wild strikes but Styles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Crouch connects with a body shot that sends Styles's belly button to the back.

Crouch stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Styles.
Styles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Crunch! Styles slams his shin into Crouch's torso.

and Crouch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Crouch waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Styles.
Styles throws a body punch but Crouch moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crouch drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Crouch throws a hook but Styles avoids it easily.
Styles walks into a stiff left hand from Crouch.
Styles connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Crouch is rocked!
That has opened up Peter Crouch's cut even more.
Styles moves out of range of the strikes.
Crouch is still on wobbly legs! Can Styles finish him?
Styles takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Crouch pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Styles engages and cracks Crouch with a massive lead left hook - Crouch tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Styles is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
