Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Souto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duck Tycoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souto comes to the cage accompanied by Jorge Quintero - 300 violin orchestra. Tycoon has chosen Rubber Ducky as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Duck Tycoon! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Souto on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Souto takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Tycoon misses with a looping right. Souto gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Tycoon throws a sloppy head kick and Souto moves out of range easily. Tycoon pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Souto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tycoon. Tycoon misses with a low kick. A jab from Tycoon misses. Tycoon misses with a wild body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tycoon misses with a looping left. Tycoon lands with a straight right. Souto didn't see that one coming. Tycoon misses with a left hand and Souto counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Souto. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Souto postures up in Tycoon's guard and throws a big left but Tycoon blocks it. Tycoon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Souto. Souto trying to control but Tycoon is working from the bottom. Souto postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Souto trying to control but Tycoon is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tycoon trying to keep a closed guard but Souto is proving a slippery customer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tycoon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Souto wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Souto tries to escape but Tycoon has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Souto defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tycoon keeps control of the position as Souto tries to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Souto defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Tycoon's arms. Souto showing good submission defense here.
A lull in the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tycoon working for a choke but Souto is defending well. Tycoon controlling well, preventing Souto from escaping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Souto looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Tycoon is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Souto has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Duck Tycoon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tycoon tries to score with a low kick but Souto moves his leg out of the way. Tycoon takes a swing at Souto's ribcage but misses. Souto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tycoon throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Souto wants to clinch up but Tycoon keeps it at a distance. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tycoon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tycoon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A solid leg kick lands there for Tycoon.
Tycoon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tycoon connects with a solid leg kick. Souto walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Duck Tycoon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Tycoon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A big left from Tycoon misses. Tycoon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tycoon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Souto. Souto tries to clinch and Tycoon makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Tycoon throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Souto counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tycoon won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tycoon is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Tycoon keeps trying to improve his position. Souto scoring with punches and elbows. Tycoon is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Souto throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Souto tries for a kimura but Tycoon is defending well. Souto looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Souto wants to control but Tycoon is keeping him busy. Souto is trying to get an arm triangle but Tycoon is defending well. Souto is looking to take a break and control but Tycoon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tycoon is looking for a sweep. Tycoon is still trying to improve position. Souto looks up at the clock and then as Tycoon takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Souto smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Souto is looking to take a break and control but Tycoon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tycoon felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Tycoon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Duck Tycoon will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Tycoon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tycoon thows a leg kick but Souto checks it and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Souto closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tycoon tried to score with a low kick but Souto checks it. Tycoon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tycoon swings widly with a right hand
and Souto counters with a solid body kick. Tycoon with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Tycoon misses. Tycoon misses with a wild combination.
Tycoon is looking to chop away at Souto's legs. Tycoon thows a left - swing and a miss! Duck Tycoon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tycoon fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Souto is out of range. A head kick by Tycoon misses and Souto makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tycoon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tycoon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Souto moves away. Souto throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Souto checks a leg kick nicely. Tycoon looks to land a right hand but Souto moved out of range. Tycoon throws a chopping leg kick but Souto manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Tycoon throws a lazy uppercut
and Souto counters with a good low kick that Tycoon was not able to check. Souto moves out of range of the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Souto takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Souto takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

enabling Souto to counter with a crisp jab. Some bone on bone action there as Souto checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Souto avoids the head kick by Tycoon.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Souto slips under a jab. Tycoon throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A head kick misses from Tycoon. Rolando Souto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tycoon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tycoon throws a good cross that connects.
Souto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tycoon pinned against the cage. Tycoon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Souto blocks a low kick nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Duck Tycoon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tycoon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
