The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ihejirika swinging wildly here.
Ihejirika throws an overhand right that lands on Goose's shoulder, as Goose tries to avoid the shot.
Goose ducks under a wild hook from Ihejirika.
Goose has his takedown stuffed
and Ihejirika counters with a nice double leg into side control. Goose won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Goose manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ihejirika's best efforts.
Goose moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ihejirika throwing strikes but missing.
Ihejirika might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Goose escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ihejirika gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ihejirika knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goose on the ground.
Goose is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ihejirika rolls with it to try and escape but Goose cranks on the arm and Ihejirika is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
