The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards throws a sloppy head kick and Boyka moves out of range easily.
Boyka looks to clinch
and Richards counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Boyka takes one on the button.
Richards throws a low kick, looking for Boyka's leg but Boyka calmly moves out of range.
Boyka tries to clinch up.
We've been hearing reports that Boyka has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Richards bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boyka's head.
Boyka ducks under a wild hook from Richards.
Boyka with a lazy takedown attempt
and Richards counters with a left and a right... And another left! Boyka is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

CJ Richards spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
