Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stan Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekko Persvako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Persvako is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: In Flames - Crawl through knives. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stan Winner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekko Persvako!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Persvako does no damage.
Persvako throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winner's waist but Winner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Persvako off to one side.

Persvako wants to control from the top but Winner keeps moving.

Winner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Persvako on the ground.

Persvako drops back looking for a leg! Winner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Winner manages to kick Persvako off! Persvako jumps back into Winner's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Winner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Persvako works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Persvako has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Winner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Persvako is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
