Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Toretto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maci Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones defending well as Toretto loads up on a big left hand. Dwayne Toretto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Toretto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Toretto rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage. Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Toretto has him pressed against the cage. Toretto lands a body punch in the clinch. Toretto presses Jones against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Jones looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Toretto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Toretto gets a clinch. Jones has had enough of the clinch but Toretto keeps him there for the moment. Toretto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Toretto. Jones tries to sprawl but Toretto drives through with a takedown into half guard. Toretto tries to pass to full mount but Jones defends it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Toretto in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from Toretto. Toretto prevents Jones from improving his position. Toretto controlling the pace. Nice strikes from Toretto there. Toretto trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toretto has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dwayne Toretto. Toretto takes the fight into the clinch. Toretto lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jones backwards. This has been an exciting period of action! Toretto digs a right hand into Jones's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jones's gas tank. Toretto scores with a shot to the side of Jones's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toretto pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Toretto lands a body shot. Toretto taking a breather. Toretto lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Toretto has hold of one of Jones's legs. Jones is fighting the takedown attempt but Toretto gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Toretto engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Toretto cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Toretto sitting in guard here, content to control. Toretto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head. Toretto landing some decent shots from guard. Toretto working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Toretto stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Toretto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dwayne Toretto dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones walks into a stiff left hand from Toretto. Toretto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Toretto is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dwayne Toretto just wasn't active enough. Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jones is breathing heavily. Toretto throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it. Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
A slow jab from Toretto misses its intended target. Toretto clinches. Jones lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Toretto gets a trip takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Toretto has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toretto lands a heavy elbow. Toretto tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Toretto dominating with strikes here. Toretto landing strikes from the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toretto lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Toretto sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Toretto lands a couple of good shots and Jones has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Jones is rocked! Jones is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Toretto.
Toretto drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Jones is in real trouble here! Toretto lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Toretto is delighted!
