Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Weiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bary Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bary Allen! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weiner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Allen is looking to regain half guard here but Weiner keeps moving and retains side control. Weiner working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Weiner goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Allen rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Weiner's guard! Nice work there by Allen! Weiner had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Allen defends it easily. Weiner working for a triangle but Allen defends it easily.

Allen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Weiner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allen has managed to get both his arms back between Weiner's legs - danger averted. Allen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Weiner looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Allen passes into half guard.
Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weiner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Weiner wants to get back to full guard.

Weiner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Allen's guard. Weiner trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Allen wants to hit a switch here but Weiner passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Allen there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Weiner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Allen is refusing to be controlled, as Weiner sits in half guard. A lazy body kick attempt from Allen. A nice leg kick lands there from Weiner. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Allen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Allen checks a leg kick nicely. Allen thumps Weiner with a low kick. Weiner tries for a takedown but Allen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Allen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Weiner is out of range and Allen settles back down. Weiner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Allen avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Weiner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Allen misses with a low kick. Allen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Weiner is able to avoid easily. Weiner throws a leg kick which misses Allen's front leg but catches the back leg as Allen tries to avoid it. Weiner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Allen swivels and escapes. Weiner throws a low kick but it's checked well by Allen. Weiner thumps Allen with a low kick. Weiner tries for a takedown but Allen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Weiner shoots in looking for a takedown but Allen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Weiner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Weiner lands with a slapping head kick. Allen avoids a kick to the body.

Weiner chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Allen can pounce on him.

Allen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Weiner is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Allen sees it coming and defends easily. Weiner prevents Allen from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weiner wants to control but Allen is keeping him busy. Allen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Weiner is working away from the top position though. Chris Weiner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Weiner is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Chris Weiner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Weiner is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Allen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bary Allen. Well Weiner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Chris Weiner! After the fight, Chris Weiner was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
