Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Pedersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silo Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedersen comes to the cage accompanied by Do I Wanna Know?. Pain has chosen Tiptoe through the Tulips - Tiny Tim as his entrance music. Silo Pain has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kent Pedersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Silo Pain!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pedersen.
Pedersen throws a series of punches but Pain moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Pain throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pedersen scores with a jab. Pain acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pain tries to bum rush Pedersen with a series of wild strikes but Pedersen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pain is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pain throws a lazy right hand but Pedersen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pain throws a head kick that misses.
Pain tries to clinch up.
Pedersen thows a body shot but no joy.
Pain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pedersen.
Pedersen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pedersen misses with a wild body shot.
Pain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pedersen scores with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pain looks to land a right hand but Pedersen moved out of range.
Pain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A shot to the liver by Pedersen. Beautiful body shot.

Pedersen clinches.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Pedersen.
Pedersen with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Pain takes a knee right on the jaw!
Pain tries to pull guard but Pedersen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Pain takes a knee right on the jaw!
Pedersen landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Pain looks winded!
Pedersen scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Silo Pain has been cut.

Pedersen jumps guard.
Pedersen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pedersen is on top in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pain wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Pedersen has gone for a leg lock! Pain slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pedersen's guard.
Pain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Pedersen looking for a sweep. Not yet Pedersen, not yet.

Pedersen looking to control.
Pain wants to stand and escape but instead Pedersen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Pain looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pedersen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pain keeping moving, preventing Pedersen from controlling successfully.
Pedersen advances to half guard.
Pedersen uses his free foot to push down on Pain's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pain.
Pain regains half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pain trying to hold on to Pedersen's head to control him but Pedersen postures up.
Pedersen wants to control but Pain is keeping him busy.

Pedersen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pedersen wants to take a breather but Pain is having none of it.

Pedersen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pain is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kent Pedersen!
A relieved looking Kent Pedersen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
