Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vecheslav Gurin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gurin has chosen Dolphin - I Will Live as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gurin has time to react.
We've been hearing reports that Silva has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Silva tries to bum rush Gurin with a series of wild strikes but Gurin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luiz Silva will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Luiz Silva.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
