Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonic Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Boom counters with a nice low kick that buckles Funk's knee momentarily.
Funk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boom manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Boom lands a big head kick that sends Funk tumbling to the mat! Boom takes a step backwards and waves Funk back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Boom circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Funk drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Boom follows Funk to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
