Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between VJ Kiwi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiwi comes to the ring accompanied by Redlight - Get Out My Head. Ein Stein will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, VJ Kiwi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ein Stein! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crunch! Stein slams his shin into Kiwi's torso. Stein scoring well with a low kick there.
Kiwi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stein looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kiwi trying to control the action but Stein is working from the bottom. Kiwi controls the position from side control. Kiwi working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kiwi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stein keeps working. Kiwi working the strikes but Stein uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Stein is looking to control Kiwi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stein avoid being mounted? He has the arm isolated but Stein is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The strikes coming from Kiwi are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kiwi is looking to take a break and control but Stein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kiwi swings around for an armbar but Stein sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kiwi's guard.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Kiwi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stein stands up over Kiwi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Stein throws a big right hand that misses. Stein is pushing down on Kiwi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kiwi is fighting to maintain full guard but Stein has managed to sneak the leg through. Stein is looking for a kimura but Kiwi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stein to get the leverage. Stein misses with a head shot. Kiwi uses the momentum to regain guard. Stein trying to control but Kiwi is working from the bottom.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Stein sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kiwi's guard. Kiwi wants to improve his position but Stein is controlling well.
Kiwi tries to kick Stein off but Stein keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Stein lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Stein is trying to control the action in half guard but Kiwi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stein winds up and cracks Kiwi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stein keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that VJ Kiwi will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Stein is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kiwi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stein connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kiwi scrambles back to his feet. Stein connects with a crisp jab. Stein fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kiwi. Stein lands a body shot.

A good leg kick by Stein. Stein clinches up with Kiwi and pushes him back against the ropes. Stein lands a body punch in the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kiwi has Stein pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Stein manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stein lands with a short punch from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiwi goes for a takedown attempt but Stein pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stein feints a jab promting Kiwi to slip. Stein then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kiwi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like VJ Kiwi has been cut. Stein scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ein Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stein lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stein.
Nice cross by Stein. VJ Kiwi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stein slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Stein rushes Kiwi and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for VJ Kiwi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stein slowing the pace effectively. Kiwi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Stein lands with a short head shot on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for Stein.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Stein wants to take a breather but Kiwi is having none of it. Stein takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Stein working his ground and pound in the gym. Stein passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kiwi! The referee warns Kiwi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Stein lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stein can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kiwi is looking to escape. Stein looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ein Stein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on VJ Kiwi's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Stein avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kiwi is working for takedown but Stein is calmly controlling the position for now. Kiwi is looking for a takedown. Stein is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stein digs a right hand underneath Kiwi's ribcage. Kiwi let out a lung full of air as it connected. Ein Stein seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Nice body punch from Stein - that landed with a thud.
Kiwi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stein pulls him back up using the underhooks. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Stein. Kiwi has clasped his hands together around Stein's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Stein tries to bench press Kiwi off him but Kiwi keeps the position. Stein can't do much from the bottom here. Stein is looking for a sweep. Stein is trying to control Kiwi's posture but Kiwi avoids it. Kiwi has hold of Stein's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stein tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kiwi cranks the arm and Stein screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stein, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). VJ Kiwi! VJ Kiwi retains his bantamweight title! After winning the bout, VJ Kiwi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
