Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Pablos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and J R Crain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pablo Pablos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, J R Crain! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crain moves into the clinch. Crain has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Pablos is trying to keep an underhook but Crain manages to get the takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Crain not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pablos tries to get to full guard but Crain has control of the leg. Crain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pablos actively working from the bottom here. Crain is looking for a kimura but Pablos is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Crain to get the leverage. Pablos tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Crain looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pablos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Pablos is breathing heavily. Crain is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Crain is trying to control the action in half guard but Pablos is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Crain connects with a nice short shot to Pablos's temple. Pablos keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Crain seems to be looking for submissions.
Crain is looking to advance position but Pablos won't allow it. Pablos is trying to maintain the position but Crain is very close to passing his half guard. Crain throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pablos strikes from the bottom but Crain uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Pablos taking a bit of punishment here - Crain scoring with strikes. Crain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pablos keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crain tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crain has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Crain is looking to take a break and control but Pablos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crain tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Pablos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pablos throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Pablos is looking for a sweep. Pablos is working hard here to advance position. Crain working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pablos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crain wants to control but Pablos is keeping him busy. Crain tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crain has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Crain is staying tight to Pablos's torso, preventing him from escaping. Crain blocks the strikes from Pablos.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crain scoring with punches from side control. Pablos is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ACADEMIA ESPARTANA ® , so we'll see if he gets out of it. Crain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Crain grinds an elbow into Pablos's temple. Pablos stops Crain from passing to mount. Pablos striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Crain trying to control the action but Pablos is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pablos is trying to get back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crain scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pablos to see if he's OK. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crain is chipping away with strikes.
Crain tries for a kimura but Pablos is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
J R Crain dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pablos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Crain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Crain felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Crain is looking to regain half guard here but Pablos keeps moving and retains side control. Pablos trying to control the action but Crain is working from the bottom. Crain is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pablos off and has taken his back! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crain looking for the choke but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crain patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Crain has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Pablos is in real trouble here. Crain gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Pablos is tapping out! Crain wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). J R Crain! J R Crain seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
