The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Rude.
Jones throws a low kick but Rude moves out of range easily.
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Jones shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Rude changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones is looking to regain half guard here but Rude keeps moving and retains side control.

Rude tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well.
Rude just content to control the position.

Rude has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jones is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rude yanks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rude.
