Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Pistone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandy Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. WASP - Wild Child kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joe Pistone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Pistone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sandy Soto! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Pistone.
Pistone scores with a kick to the midsection. Soto shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pistone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pistone working for a triangle but Soto defends it easily.
Pistone has his foot on Soto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Soto works his way back into a safe position though. Soto stopping the sweep attempt from Pistone. Soto wants to stand but Pistone is controlling his posture from full guard. Pistone wants to hit a switch here but Soto passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Pistone there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pistone is trying to escape the mount.
Pistone wants to hold on but Soto pushes him away. Soto with shots to the head and body - Pistone looks very uncomfortable down there. Pistone tries to hold on but Soto pushes him away. Pistone is trying desperately to improve position. Pistone is working hard here to advance position. Soto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pistone is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soto prevents Pistone from getting the reversal. Pistone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Soto thowing shots but they're missing. Soto throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pistone because Soto loaded up on that one. Soto misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Soto landing strikes from the mount and Pistone is in trouble! Soto trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Soto unloads with some shots from mount but Pistone bucks and avoids them well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pistone manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Pistone, under a barage of strikes from Soto.
Soto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pistone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Soto throwing shots but Pistone is blocking nicely. Soto is keen to just control but Pistone is a slippery customer. Soto is thwarting Pistone's attempts to control the position. Sandy Soto has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Soto fails to land the takedown. That kick from Pistone tenderised Soto's leg. Soto is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pistone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pistone scores with a spinning back kick! Pistone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Soto, pushing him back against the cage. Nice body punch from Pistone. Pistone connects with a knee to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pistone lands a right hand that snaps the head of Soto backwards. Pistone misses with a body punch.

Pistone digs a right hand underneath Soto's ribcage. Soto let out a lung full of air as it connected. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pistone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Soto is looking to break free of the clinch but Pistone has double underhooks. Soto tries to break the clinch but Pistone is controlling the position. Soto takes a shot to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pistone scores with a nice hook to the head. Pistone is looking to control Soto's arms but Soto gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pistone has his back to the cage. Pistone lands a body shot. Pistone presses Soto against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Good body shot from Pistone.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joe Pistone will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pistone wants to clinch. Sandy Soto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pistone pushes Soto up against the cage in a clinch. Pistone scores with an uppercut up the middle. Pistone breaks the clinch.
Soto is looking to clinch but Pistone is avoiding it.
Soto takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Soto is rocked! Soto blocks a head kick by Pistone.
Soto is still on wobbly legs! Can Pistone finish him? Pistone lands a big head kick that sends Soto to the canvas! Pistone follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
