Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fisher pushes Gene away with a front kick.
A head kick misses from Fisher.
Gene tries to clinch but Fisher is having none of it.
Gene on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.
Fisher avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Gene tries to clinch up but Fisher circles away and keeps his distance.

Fisher moves out of range of the body kick.

Good leg kick by Fisher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fisher throws a series of punches but Gene moves out of range.
Fisher lands a big head kick that sends Gene tumbling to the mat! Fisher takes a step backwards and waves Gene back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gene tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fisher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gene takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fisher dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Fisher throws a wild body kick that Gene sees coming a mile off.
Fisher throws a head kick but Gene moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gene rushes Fisher and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gene digs a right hand underneath Fisher's ribcage. Fisher let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gene is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fisher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Gene goes for a takedown attempt but Fisher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Levi Gene. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fisher takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gene. Fisher does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fisher swats away the attempt to clinch by Gene.
Gene feints and then cracks Fisher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fisher down.
Gene lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Gene swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gene looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sloppy strikes from Fisher. Those never looked like landing.
Gene chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fisher can pounce on him.
A head kick misses from Fisher.
Fisher takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fisher uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gene.
Gene throws a head kick that misses.

It looks like Levi Gene has been cut.
Levi Gene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gene is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gene slips a jab and a cross from Fisher.
Fisher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gene.

Fisher fakes the leg kick and cracks Gene in the body.

A telegraphed right hand from Gene misses the target.
Fisher scores with a nice body kick.
Fisher throws a quick inside leg kick.
Whack! Fisher lands a heavy head kick that drops Gene. The ref tackles Fisher to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gene was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). John Fisher!
Our winner, John Fisher, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
