Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lando Lager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Wareheim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Wareheim told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wareheim tries to clinch there but Lager circles away.
Lager fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Eric Wareheim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lager closes the distance and clinches up with Wareheim, looking for a takedown. Lager pushes Wareheim against the cage but Wareheim circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wareheim is looking to clinch.
Wareheim throws a head kick that misses.
Wareheim tries to clinch but Lager is having none of it.
Wareheim wants to clinch.
Wareheim pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lager is looking for a kimura but Wareheim is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lager to get the leverage.

Wareheim is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Lager shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Wareheim tries to improve his position but Lager has taken his back! Lager has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Wareheim tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Lager pushes Wareheim away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
