Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Will Powders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Lahm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Powders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Julian Lahm!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahm throws a series of punches but Powders avoids them all with ease.
Powders shoots for a double leg takedown but Lahm sprawls well. He's pushed Powders's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Powders seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Powders gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lahm counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Powders feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lahm wants to stand up but Powders is controlling him.

Powders drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lahm dives on top into guard.

Lahm stands up over Powders, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lahm must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Powders is looking for a triangle but Lahm pushes his legs off easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lahm's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Powders is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Powders looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lahm has picked Powders up and slammed him! Powders can't keep hold of the triangle and Lahm manages to pass to side control!
Powders sneaks back into half guard.
Powders is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lahm scores with a couple of nice shots.
My spies in Combat Zone [15 Elite & Sauna inform me that Lahm has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Lahm winds up and cracks Powders with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Powders regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lahm content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Powders looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lahm is working Powders over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lahm lands a couple of elbows.
Lahm cracks Powders with a solid left hand.

Powders is rocked!
Lahm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Powders working for a triangle but Lahm defends it easily.

Powders has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lahm doesn't defend quickly enough and Powders has managed to lock this one up! Can Lahm escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Powders on a fantastic submission victory.
