With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruno Sparrow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sparrow's coach down at Pahuyuth Muay Thai 12 elite coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sparrow's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Sparrow scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Mineev to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mineev is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Oh Mineev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mineev walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Mineev is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

After winning the bout, Bruno Sparrow thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
