The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel throws a shot from downtown. Hegel moves away and avoids it.
Diesel throws a head kick that misses.
Diesel tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hegel counters with a two punch combo.
Diesel moves to clinch but Hegel breaks away
and Hegel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Benny Diesel has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hegel avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Hegel counters with a solid body kick.

and Hegel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Diesel throws a sloppy head kick
and Hegel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Diesel darts in trying to clinch
and before Diesel has any time to reset, Hegel cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
