Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toney falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cote counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Cote shoots in looking for a takedown. Toney tries to sprawl out of it but Cote keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Toney manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cote shoots for a double leg takedown but Toney sprawls well. He's pushed Cote's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Toney throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cote misses with a body shot.
Toney tries to bum rush Cote with a series of wild strikes but Cote uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Toney fails to land with a series of punches.
Cote with a lazy takedown attempt
and Toney cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Angel Toney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Cote.
Cote thows a body shot but no joy.
Toney throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Toney gets tackled into the cage by Cote. Cote maintains the clinch.
Cote manages to pull guard.
Cote utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Toney sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cote's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cote pushes Toney off looking to stand but Toney dives back in and keeps control.
Toney is trying to control. Cote wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Toney passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cote!
A nice elbow there by Toney.
Toney thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Cote is working to get back to half guard.
Toney lands a nice shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Toney lands a big shot there that rocks Cote but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Cote is rocked!
Toney fails to advance to Cote's back.
Cote is still in real trouble! Can Toney finish him?
Cote tries to lock up and control but Toney gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cote takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Toney's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angel Toney!
After winning the bout, Angel Toney thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
