Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arturo Gatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gale comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden-The Trooper. Chris Gale has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Gale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arturo Gatti!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gale looks to land a right hand but Gatti moved out of range.
Gale shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gatti defends it nicely.
Gatti punishes Gale's body with a nice straight punch.
Gale throws out a loose jab but Gatti uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gatti lands a glancing blow to the side of Gale's head.
Gale attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gatti's waist but Gatti gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gale off to one side.
Gatti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gale.
Gale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gale attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

and Gatti counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Gale falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
