And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gates shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Georges counters with a shoot takedown. Gates fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Georges sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Georges forces his way into half guard.
Georges passes into side control, despite Gates's attempt to control the position.
Georges is trying to get an arm triangle but Gates is defending well.
The referee asks Georges politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Georges prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Georges in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gates is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

A very excited looking Guy Georges rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
