Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison comes into the arena with Ocean Colour Scene - Hundred Mile High City blaring out of the sound system. Blow has chosen Slippin as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Harrison! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Blow! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Blow checks a leg kick. Harrison cracks Blow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Harrison tries to land a leg kick but Blow saw it coming and moves away.
Harrison connects with a looping right hand.
A big right from Harrison misses. Harrison misses with a hook. Blow ducked under it nicely. Harrison walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blow checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Harrison has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Harrison misses with an uppercut. Blow saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Blow dodges the punch combination from Harrison.
Harrison tests Blow's chin there with a solid looking shot. Harrison swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison with a nice cross. Harrison scores with a punch to the head. Blow takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Harrison throws a looping overhand right but Blow ducks down to avoid it. Harrison throws an overhand right that lands on Blow's shoulder, as Blow tries to avoid the shot. Harrison scores with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison misses with a low kick.
Simon Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blow avoids a punch combination nicely.
Harrison is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Nice straight punches there by Harrison. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Harrison. A bone on bone clash there as Blow blocks the leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Blow moves out of range as Harrison throws a body kick.
Harrison scores with a crisp jab that stopped Blow in his tracks. That kick from Harrison tenderised Blow's leg. Blow is trying to keep his angry face on. Harrison feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Blow's calf. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harrison throws a low kick, looking for Blow's leg but Blow calmly moves out of range. A jab from Harrison misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Harrison dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Blow ducks under a wild hook from Harrison. Harrison throws a leg kick which misses Blow's front leg but catches the back leg as Blow tries to avoid it. Harrison throws a nice looking combination but Blow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Harrison connects with an inside leg kick. Harrison misses with a hook
and Blow counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Harrison! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Harrison gets back to half guard. Blow is working for a kimura but Harrison is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Harrison avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blow. Blow not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Blow with the ground and pound but Harrison uses the opportunity to regain guard. Blow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Blow throws a strike but Harrison rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Blow looking for a guillotine here but Harrison defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blow is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Harrison rolls with it to try and escape but Blow cranks on the arm and Harrison is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mike Blow! Mike Blow is the new welterweight champion! A relieved looking Mike Blow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
