Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Hefner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lincoln Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hefner comes to the ring accompanied by Puff The Magic Dragon. Reid is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sub Focus - Rock it. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Hugh Hefner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lincoln Reid! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hefner pushes Reid up against the ropes in a clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Hefner.
Hefner comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Hefner jumps into guard, dragging Reid to the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hefner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reid gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hefner is looking for a triangle but Reid pushes his legs off easily.

Reid stands and throws Hefner's legs to the side, diving into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reid working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reid tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reid has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Reid wants to control but Hefner is keeping him busy. Hefner is looking for a sweep. Hefner is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Reid off and has taken his back! Hefner is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Reid defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Hefner has the hooks in. Reid is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hefner looking to break Reid's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Reid remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hefner will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Hefner working for the choke.

Reid is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hefner gets his way!
