Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pat Miletich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Roosmalen!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roosmalen works Miletich's body with a nice hook.
Roosmalen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Miletich's sensitive parts.
Roosmalen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Roosmalen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Roosmalen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Miletich shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Roosmalen defends it nicely.
Miletich takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Roosmalen throws a nice inside leg kick.

Roosmalen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Pat Miletich has been cut.

Miletich avoids the head kick by Roosmalen.
Roosmalen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miletich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Roosmalen thuds a left hand into Miletich's body.

Roosmalen slaps away a takedown attempt from Miletich, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Roosmalen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A thudding body kick lands there by Roosmalen!
Stefan Roosmalen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roosmalen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stefan Roosmalen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roosmalen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Miletich counters with a shoot takedown. Roosmalen fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Miletich wants to control from the top but Roosmalen keeps moving.

Miletich working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Roosmalen's head.
Roosmalen pulls Miletich in close to prevent any damage.
Miletich throwing strikes from guard but Roosmalen blocks nicely.
Miletich wants to control from the top but Roosmalen keeps moving.
Miletich stopping the sweep attempt from Roosmalen.
Roosmalen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miletich controls the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Roosmalen cracks Miletich with a good jab.

Roosmalen stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Miletich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Roosmalen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Miletich slips under a jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miletich has his takedown stuffed
and Roosmalen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roosmalen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stefan Roosmalen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pat Miletich's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Miletich closes the distance and clinches up with Roosmalen, looking for a takedown. Miletich pushes Roosmalen against the ropes but Roosmalen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Roosmalen is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Miletich rather than just go for the knockout.
Sloppy strikes from Roosmalen. Those never looked like landing.
Roosmalen lands a jab.
Roosmalen lands a lovely overhand right.
Miletich keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick from Roosmalen lands but Miletich takes it in his stride.
Miletich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roosmalen's waist but Roosmalen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miletich off to one side.
Roosmalen thows a body shot but no joy.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miletich is defended easily by Roosmalen.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Miletich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Roosmalen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pat Miletich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Roosmalen cracks Miletich with a right hand to the side of the head.
Roosmalen delivers a nice body kick.
Roosmalen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Miletich. That did some damage!
Roosmalen tests Miletich's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Roosmalen lands a big head kick that sends Miletich to the canvas! Roosmalen follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stefan Roosmalen!
