Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mal Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Reynolds throws a series of punches but Riley moves out of range.
Reynolds throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Reynolds!


It looks like George Riley has been cut.
Riley avoids a kick to the body.
Reynolds lands a left and a right that sends Riley crashing to the canvas! Reynolds dives into mount looking to finish!


Riley is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Riley regains half guard.
Riley is pressing down on Reynolds's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Riley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reynolds manages to get himself to full guard.
Reynolds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Riley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Riley advances position into side control!

Riley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Riley stands up and beckons Reynolds to his feet.
Riley shoots for a takedown but Reynolds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Reynolds swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Riley.
Reynolds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Riley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Reynolds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Riley takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Reynolds keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

George Riley's cut is getting worse.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Riley. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reynolds fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Riley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Riley moves into range and clinches up with Reynolds.

Riley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Reynolds gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Riley counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Riley successfully pulls guard.
Riley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reynolds manages to get himself to full guard.
Riley wants to pass the guard but Reynolds is keeping the position.
Riley slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Riley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reynolds is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mal Reynolds dominated that round.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Riley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Riley takes a kick to the side of the head.
Mal Reynolds seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Riley fails with a takedown attempt.
Riley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The fighters circling - Reynolds throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Riley tries to clinch but Reynolds is having none of it.
Reynolds tries a head kick but it misses.

Riley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reynolds knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Riley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Riley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Riley advances nicely into full mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Riley moves out of range of the leg kick from Reynolds.
Reynolds pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Riley moves into the clinch successfully.
Reynolds has had enough of the clinch but Riley keeps him there for the moment.
Reynolds fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Riley has Reynolds pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Riley pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Reynolds tumbling to the mat - Riley dives into Reynolds's guard.
Riley passes Reynolds's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Riley is trying to work for a kimura but Reynolds is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reynolds looks like he's trying to stand up.
Reynolds wants to control but Riley passes into side.

Riley decides to stand back up. Riley steps back and let's Reynolds get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Reynolds tries to land a body kick

and Riley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Riley.
Reynolds takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Reynolds is working an open guard so Riley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Reynolds tries to clinch but Riley moves away

and Riley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Riley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Riley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

George Riley showed his dominance in that final round.
