Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Best Ever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canadian Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero throws a head kick but Ever moves out of range.
Ever misses with a takedown attempt - Hero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ever is defended easily by Hero.
Ever fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hero sprawls well initially but Ever persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hero gets back to full guard.
Hero pulls Ever in close to prevent any damage.
Hero bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ever's guard.
Ever can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hero controls the pace.
Ever wants to stand and escape but Hero is having none of it.
Hero stays in close to Ever's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ever is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Hero trying to control the position from guard on top but Ever is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Canadian Hero was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Hero lands with a slapping head kick.
Canadian Hero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ever stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hero.
Hero with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hero.
Ever fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hero avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Best Ever. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ever shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hero as he avoids it easily.

Ever tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Ever is breathing heavily.
Ever looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hero.
Canadian Hero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ever shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hero as he jumps to the side.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hero.
Ever shoots in and drives through. Hero sprawls well.
Hero has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hero cracks the inside of Ever's front leg.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hero.
Ever is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Good leg kick by Hero there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hero throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hero chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hero fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hero throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ever.
Hero throws a leg kick which misses Ever's front leg but catches the back leg as Ever tries to avoid it.
Hero lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hero! Ever is out on his feet! Hero rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ever is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ever is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Canadian Hero!
After winning the bout, Canadian Hero thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
