Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ike Turner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ike Turner!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee swings for the body but Turner moves out of range.
A nice combination there by Lee.
Lee misses with a kick to the body.
Turner keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

and Turner counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lee is trying to get back to half guard.
Lee parries the strikes from Turner easily there. Turner is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lee to escape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from Lee's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Lee is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

BOOM! Turner connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lee is squirming around, avoiding Turner's attempts to control the action.
Turner cracks Lee with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Turner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Turner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Turner is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.
Turner lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Turner wants to take a breather but Lee is having none of it.

Lee wants to improve his position but Turner is controlling well.
Turner working the head and body with strikes.
Turner wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.
Turner sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though.
Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Turner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Turner moves nicely into side control.
Oh Lee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
Lee seems to have got his legs back now.
Lee wants to control but Turner postures up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The strikes coming from Turner are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The ground and pound from Turner seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Lee on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turner advances nicely into full mount.

Turner has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Turner postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lee in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lee to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ike Turner!
During a confident post fight interview, Ike Turner thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
