Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phil Laak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Rubio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubio fails in his attempt to clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rubio has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Laak swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That was a close second round but I would say that Phil Laak will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Laak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
