Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grant Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dragon's choice of entrance music: Taio Cruz-Dynamite. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grant Fortune! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Dragon! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragon changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Fortune misses with a low kick.
Fortune slips under a jab. Dragon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dragon wants to slow Fortune down by chopping away at his legs. Fortune moves out of range as Dragon strikes. Fortune avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fortune moves out of range as Dragon strikes. Fortune ducks under a wild hook from Dragon. Dragon misses with a left hand and Fortune decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dragon's guard. Fortune controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dragon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fortune is in close to Dragon's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fortune trying to move into half guard but instead Dragon has managed to sweep! Dragon wants to pass the guard but Fortune is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fortune pulls Dragon in close to his closed guard and prevents Dragon from doing any damage or advancing position. Fortune manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dragon manages to get himself to full guard.
Dragon has his foot on Fortune's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fortune works his way back into a safe position though. Fortune throwing strikes from guard but Dragon blocks nicely. Fortune working some strikes from top position. Dragon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dragon tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dragon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dragon has momentary wrist control but Fortune slips an elbow through the middle. Dragon looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fortune has picked Dragon up and slammed him! Dragon can't keep hold of the triangle and Fortune manages to pass to side control! Fortune landing a few strikes. Dragon takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Check out the look on Fortune's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Dragon sneaks back into half guard. Fortune seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dragon trying to control but Fortune postures up.
Dragon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fortune winds up and cracks Dragon with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fortune has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fortune lands a nice short elbow. Fortune lands a big elbow - Dragon is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Fortune!
