The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Paquiao counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Paquiao swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Manuel Paquiao will probably get the nod.

Paquiao cracks Smith on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Smith falls backwards against the cage. Paquiao follows up with more strikes that drop Smith to his knees. Paquiao keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Smith! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Manuel Paquiao thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
