Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Davey Steeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Ass!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steeves wants to clinch.
Steeves gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ass lands a right hook to the body.
Ass misses with a head kick.
Steeves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ass lands a jab to the nose.
Ass scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ass misses with a right hand

and Steeves counters with a takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ass controls the position for a moment.
Ass is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ass wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steeves is trying to control the action in half guard but Ass is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ass looks like he's trying to stand up.
Steeves not doing much here.

Steeves trying to control from Ass's half guard. Ass has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Steeves postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Steeves stays in close to Ass's body and controls the position.
Ass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steeves is one step ahead there.
Ass trying to keep a closed guard but Steeves is proving a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Steeves wants to take the fight to the mat but Ass manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Ass is pressed up against the cage. Steeves has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ass down to the mat. Ass avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Steeves doesn't manage to clinch there - Ass circles away.
Ass throws a right hand that Steeves ducks under and follows up with a left that Steeves also avoids with ease.
Steeves throws out a leg kick but Ass moves out of range and Steeves only half commits.

Steeves turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ass tries to clinch but Steeves is having none of it.
Ass moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Ass connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ass scores with a one two! Steeves had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Steeves throws a low kick but Ass avoids it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ass throws a head kick but Steeves moves out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Steeves lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ass has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ass and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Steeves throws a low kick, looking for Ass's leg but Ass calmly moves out of range.
Ass keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ass lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice uppercut there from Ass.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ass.
Ass avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Ass takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ass scores with a shot to the body.
Ass is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Steeves had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Steeves throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ass lands with an uppercut that bounces Steeves off the cage and back into range.
Steeves walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Steeves tries for a takedown but Ass sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Steeves is breathing heavily.

Ass scores with a crisp jab that stopped Steeves in his tracks.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ass closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Steeves tries to pull guard but Ass won't allow it.
Ass lands a right hand that snaps the head of Steeves backwards.
Steeves tries to pull guard but Ass holds him up against the cage and eventually Steeves drops back down to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Ass dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ass lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steeves circles away quickly and effectively.
Steeves blocks a head kick by Ass.
A nice combination there by Ass.


It looks like Davey Steeves has been cut.
Ass tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steeves swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ass lands with a shot to the body.
Steeves attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Steeves shoots in looking for a takedown but Ass manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steeves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Steeves takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ass throws a series of punches but Steeves avoids them all with ease.

Ass throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steeves stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Steeves tried to score with a low kick but Ass checks it.
Steeves lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ass's sensitive parts.

Steeves takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Ass throws a right hand that Steeves ducks under and follows up with a left that Steeves also avoids with ease.

Steeves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ass but Ass pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ass throws a right hand that misses
and Steeves counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Steeves looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ass lands the left hand.
Ass tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ass scores with a hook to the body. Steeves takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ass throws a right and a left that Steeves avoids nicely.
Steeves wants to land a leg kick but Ass is out of range.
Steeves pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ass is out of range and Steeves settles back down.

Ass looks to land a combination but Steeves avoids it well.
Donk. Ass catches Steeves right on the button with a cross.
Steeves misses with a low kick as Ass jumps back.

Steeves is rocked!
Ass circles away from the clinch attempt.
Oh Steeves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Steeves takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ass cracks Steeves with a hook to the temple - Steeves is on wobbly legs here! Ass swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Steeves falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ass wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Ass!
