Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaslik Styless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seifer Almasy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shaslik Styless! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seifer Almasy! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almasy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Styless paws at him with a jab and circles away. Almasy fails in his attempt to clinch. Almasy is looking to clinch but Styless is avoiding it.
Styless goes for a double leg but Almasy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Almasy continues to drive forward. Styless blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Almasy blocks an elbow strike. Styless struggles to land a body shot inside as Almasy controls his hands.
Styless lands an uppercut. Knees in the clinch landing for Almasy.
Styless misses with a short punch on the inside. Styless throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Almasy blocks it with crossed arms. Almasy with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Styless will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Almasy up against the cage.

Seifer Almasy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Almasy rushes Styless and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Almasy with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Almasy scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Shaslik Styless has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Almasy managing to block the knees to the body from Styless.
Styless lands with a short shot to the head. Styless stalling in the clinch but Almasy improves position. Styless can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight. Styless swings away with an uppercut that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Styless tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Shaslik Styless dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shaslik Styless's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Almasy tries to clinch up. The fight stays on the outside here - Almasy looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Almasy tries to clinch up. Almasy takes the fight into the clinch. Styless misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Almasy.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Almasy obliges. Almasy is pushing Styless up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Almasy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

The crowd are getting on Almasy's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Almasy with a knee to the head.
Styless is rocked! Almasy has Styless pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Styless is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Almasy - that's hurt Styless badly! Oh, another knee lands and Styless is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Styless doesn't seem to be complaining.
