Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andros Luboslaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Vasilyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Andros Luboslaw has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andros Luboslaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikhail Vasilyev!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vasilyev.

Vasilyev looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Vasilyev is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Vasilyev is pressing down on Luboslaw's thigh, looking to free his foot. Luboslaw is holding on for now.
Luboslaw is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Vasilyev scores with a couple of nice shots.

Vasilyev stands up and beckons Luboslaw to join him on the feet.
Vasilyev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luboslaw pinned against the cage. Luboslaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Luboslaw tries for a takedown but Vasilyev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Luboslaw gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vasilyev tries to stand but Luboslaw is controlling from the bottom.
Luboslaw can't keep his opponent in guard - Vasilyev advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Vasilyev is keen to just control but Luboslaw is a slippery customer.

Vasilyev wants to work for an arm triangle but Luboslaw is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vasilyev looks gassed!
Luboslaw is trying to maintain the position but Vasilyev is very close to passing his half guard.

Luboslaw is defending against the submission attempts here by Vasilyev.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Luboslaw slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Luboslaw looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Vasilyev won't allow Luboslaw to get back to his feet.
Vasilyev wants to control from the top but Luboslaw keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Luboslaw moves in looking to clinch but Vasilyev pushes him off.

Vasilyev takes a kick to the side of the head.
Luboslaw shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Luboslaw moves in looking to clinch but Vasilyev pushes him off.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Luboslaw wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vasilyev has him pressed against the ropes.
Luboslaw lands a knee to the body.
Luboslaw gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vasilyev.
Andros Luboslaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikhail Vasilyev.
Luboslaw scores with a shot to the side of Vasilyev's head.
Vasilyev tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Luboslaw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vasilyev fails with the takedown
and Luboslaw counters with a head kick.


Vasilyev is rocked!

Luboslaw rushes Vasilyev and presses him up against the ropes.
Vasilyev is still on wobbly legs! Can Luboslaw finish him?
Luboslaw lands a damaging elbow.
Luboslaw with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Luboslaw lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Luboslaw unloads a knee to the mid-section. Vasilyev lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Luboslaw breaks from the clinch.

Luboslaw clinches up with Vasilyev and pushes him back against the ropes.

Luboslaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Luboslaw instigates a clinch.

Luboslaw breaks from the clinch.
Luboslaw dances in with a quick combination. Vasilyev is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Luboslaw snaps Vasilyev's head back. Vasilyev stumbles backwards against the ropes. Luboslaw steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Vasilyev's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Vasilyev just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andros Luboslaw!
