Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Oskar De La Hoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sullivan Damerrs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oskar De La Hoya has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oskar De La Hoya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sullivan Damerrs! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Damerrs. Damerrs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from De La Hoya. De La Hoya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Damerrs moves away. Damerrs swinging wildly here.
De La Hoya throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Damerrs. De La Hoya looks to land a left hand but Damerrs moved out of range nicely. De La Hoya fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Damerrs has taken the fight to the clinch.

Damerrs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. De La Hoya throws a nice looking combination but Damerrs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The fighters circling - De La Hoya throws out the jab but it was never going to land. De La Hoya throws a series of punches but Damerrs moves out of range. Damerrs moves into range and clinches up with De La Hoya. Damerrs keeps control of De La Hoya as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. De La Hoya is trying to break free. Nice body punch from Damerrs. Damerrs stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Damerrs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Damerrs tries to close the distance and clinch but De La Hoya swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. De La Hoya lands with an uppercut that bounces Damerrs off the cage and back into range. Damerrs drives through and clinches with De La Hoya against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Oskar De La Hoya will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

De La Hoya throws a right and a left that both miss. De La Hoya dips to his left and cracks Damerrs with an uppercut! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Damerrs throws a body punch but De La Hoya moves out of range. De La Hoya misses the jab. Damerrs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. De La Hoya lands a nice hook to Damerrs's body. Damerrs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. De La Hoya throws a sloppy head kick and Damerrs moves out of range easily. Damerrs avoids the body shot from De La Hoya.

Boom. That sent Damerrs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Damerrs on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. De La Hoya bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Damerrs's head backwards. De La Hoya displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Damerrs throws out the jab. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A head kick misses from Damerrs. Damerrs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. De La Hoya misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sullivan Damerrs has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Oskar De La Hoya is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. De La Hoya throws a sloppy head kick and Damerrs moves out of range easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Oskar De La Hoya showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for De La Hoya, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
