Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalid lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gonzales at a distance.
Kalid closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Gonzales tries to break free but Kalid pushes him back against the cage.
Gonzales's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gonzales is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kalid sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kalid throws a lazy head kick
and Gonzales counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kalid lands a head shot.
Gonzales takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kalid scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gonzales takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Oooooh!!! Kalid has knocked Gonzales down with a huge combo! Kalid steps away and waves a wobbly Gonzales back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Gonzales is rocked!
Gonzales shoots and misses
and Kalid makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gonzales is still on wobbly legs! Can Kalid finish him?
Gonzales will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Victor Kalid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Gonzales.
Kalid grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Gonzales takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Kalid cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
