Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rinta Pelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fraser comes to the cage accompanied by Sirius. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donald Fraser!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rinta Pelle!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelle avoids the body shot from Fraser.
Fraser misses with a wild body shot.
Fraser fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fraser fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pelle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fraser scores with a nice head shot.
Fraser wants to clinch up but Pelle keeps it at a distance.
Fraser throws a poor cross that misses
letting Pelle counter with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pelle slips under a jab from Fraser.
Fraser tries to clinch up.
Fraser throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fraser lands a really nice looking cross but Pelle seems unphased.
Fraser ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fraser throws a big shot that misses.
Donald Fraser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fraser blocks a jab.
Jab from Pelle.
Pelle has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pelle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fraser throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pelle sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fraser lands a jab to the nose.

Pelle gets tackled into the cage by Fraser. Fraser maintains the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fraser tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Pelle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fraser scores with a jab to the head.
Fraser tries to clinch up
and Pelle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fraser connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pelle's hands.
Pelle moves out of range as Fraser strikes.
Fraser tries to clinch there but Pelle circles away.
Pelle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fraser.
Pelle uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fraser.
Fraser lands the left hand.
Fraser connects with a jab.
Fraser throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fraser misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pelle.

Pelle gets a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pelle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fraser has him pressed against the cage.
Fraser scores with a shot to the side of Pelle's head.

Fraser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fraser changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fraser slips under a jab.
A left and a right from Pelle both land. Nice combination.
Fraser misses with a looping left.
The crowd cheers as Fraser lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pelle doesn't seem phased though.
Fraser scores with the left hand. Pelle knows he should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fraser pushes Pelle up against the cage in a clinch.
Fraser tries to break free but Pelle pushes him back against the cage.
Fraser tries to break the clinch but Pelle is controlling the position.
Fraser misses with a body punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Pelle's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Fraser misses with the head strike.
Fraser tries to throw a body punch but Pelle avoids it by throwing Fraser back against the cage.
Fraser wants to break free but Pelle has control.
Pelle trying to control the position but instead, Fraser has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pelle into the cage.
Pelle misses with a punch on the inside.
Pelle trying to land knees to the body.
Pelle has had enough of the clinch but Fraser keeps him there for the moment.
Fraser can't find room to land a body shot as Pelle controls the action.
Fraser's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Pelle lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fraser backwards.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fraser is leaning against Pelle and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
I was talking to Fraser's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Pelle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fraser uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


It looks like Rinta Pelle has been cut.

Fraser sends Pelle crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fraser is motioning to the referee to let Pelle up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donald Fraser dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rinta Pelle's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Fraser throws a big shot that misses.

The fighters circling - Fraser throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fraser throws the left hand but Pelle avoids the punch easily.
Fraser tries to clinch but Pelle moves out of range.
Fraser misses with a lunging right hand
and Pelle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fraser thows a body shot but no joy.
Fraser misses with a hook. Pelle ducked under it nicely.
Fraser lands a head shot.
Fraser tries to clinch there but Pelle circles away.
Fraser is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pelle.

A lazy left from Pelle finds it's target.
Fraser is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pelle can do to turn this around?
Fraser scores with a hook.
Fraser slips a straight right by Pelle.
Pelle misses with a few strikes there.
Rinta Pelle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fraser is looking to clinch but Pelle is avoiding it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fraser. Pelle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fraser fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pelle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fraser tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pelle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fraser throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fraser misses with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Fraser moves into the clinch successfully.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fraser struggles to land a body shot inside as Pelle controls his hands.

Pelle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fraser jabs at Pelle's body.
Pelle on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Pelle walks straight into a right hand from Fraser - that's dropped him! Fraser jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pelle from any more punishment! Pelle complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Donald Fraser!
Donald Fraser retains his heavyweight title!
