Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Rexar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rexar comes to the cage accompanied by Big Shit Poppin'. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha shoots in for a double leg but Rexar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rexar shoots in and bounces Rocha off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rocha wants to stand and escape but Rexar is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rexar gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rocha dodges the punch combination from Rexar.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rexar enables Rocha to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rexar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rexar wants to sweep here but Rocha controlling him for the moment.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rexar throws a lazy right hand but Rocha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Rexar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rocha's guard.
