Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mish has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mish digs a right hand into William's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on William's gas tank.
Mish breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
William dives in for a single leg takedown but Mish sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
William tries for a takedown. No joy.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mish - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mish's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
William fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mish avoids it really well and circles away.
JJ Mish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas William.

William displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mish.
Mish darts in looking for a takedown but William gets double underhooks and turns Mish into the cage.

William has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mish after a bit of a struggle.
Mish breaks from the clinch.
Mish uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by William.
William shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than William was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mish is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Mish is pressing down on William's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
William trying to control the position from guard on top but Mish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mish is trying to control William's posture but William avoids it.
Mish knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for William on the ground.
William is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mish is trying to escape and William transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mish is forced to tap! Nice work there by William! Very nice indeed!
