Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demian Gracie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Storm has Gracie up against the ropes in a clinch.

Gracie is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Storm can't fight it off and eventually Gracie manages to take the fight to the floor. Storm looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Storm wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie is looking to pass into half guard but Storm pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Storm is in guard.
Storm tries to stand but Gracie is controlling from the bottom.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Storm really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Gracie jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Storm manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Storm is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Storm is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Storm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Storm prevents Gracie from improving position.
Storm tries to improve position but can't.
Gracie trying to control the action but Storm is working from the bottom.
Storm struggling a bit here.
Storm is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Storm pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Gracie wants to control but Storm is keeping him busy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Storm shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Storm creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gracie sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Gracie managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Storm.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Storm tries for a kimura but Gracie is defending well.

Storm stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Gracie tries to sprawl but Storm drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Gracie won't allow Storm to pass to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Storm's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Storm's back!
Storm is trying to get back to his feet but Gracie has full control of the position and if anything, Storm has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Gracie is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Storm with him. Storm is trying to defend but Gracie has an arm under the chin now! Storm grimaces and is forced to tap out!
