Robertson comes to the cage accompanied by Marvelous Me . I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Barry Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Big Bud!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bud throws a sloppy head kick and Robertson moves out of range easily.
Robertson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bud. Bud circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've been hearing reports that Robertson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bud throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Robertson jumps guard but Bud stands there with Robertson around his waist. Robertson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Robertson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bud walks away with a smile on his face. Robertson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Robertson has managed to clinch.

Robertson jumps guard and drags Bud to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bud got a little sloppy there for a moment and Robertson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bud has managed to get both his arms back between Robertson's legs - danger averted.

Bud is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Robertson is just riding it out for now. Bud eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Barry Robertson will probably get the nod.
