Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Lecouc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lecouc kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Rob Zombie - Iron head. Hearns is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Darude - Sandstorm. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lecouc scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hearns prevents Lecouc from moving into mount.

Hearns bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Alex Lecouc will probably get the nod.

Lecouc drops his hands momentarily. Hearns doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Lecouc staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Lecouc doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
