And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lugo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lugo.
Huerta tried to score with a low kick but Lugo checks it.
Huerta avoids the head kick by Lugo.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lugo.
Lugo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Huerta.
Huerta tries for a takedown but Lugo circles away easily
and Lugo counters with a nice leg kick.
Huerta throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lugo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Huerta throws a lazy head kick
and Lugo counters with a slapping leg kick.
Huerta looks winded!

Huerta looks for a takedown but Lugo sprawls well.
Daniel Lugo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Huerta.
Lugo circles away from the clinch attempt
and as Huerta loses concentration momentarily, Lugo counters with a picture perfect head kick! Huerta goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
