The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunter misses with an uppercut. Gribble saw that one coming.
Bunter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gribble paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bunter wants to land a leg kick but Gribble is out of range.
Gribble moves out of range of the leg kick from Bunter.

Gribble has managed to clinch.
Gribble scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Gribble escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bunter tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bunter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bunter there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gribble throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bunter.
Bunter throws a wild body kick that Gribble sees coming a mile off.
Gribble rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bunter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gribble moves out of range of the body kick.
Bunter throws a jab when Gribble was well out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bunter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bunter tries to clinch but Gribble moves out of range.

Gribble rushes Bunter and presses him up against the cage.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Gribble escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bunter is looking to clinch but Gribble is avoiding it.

Bunter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gribble jabs Bunter right on the nose. Bunter blinks but takes it well.

Gribble fails to land with a series of punches.

Dale Gribble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gribble stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gribble fails with an attempt to clinch.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Gribble.

Gribble keeps control of Bunter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Gribble scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bunter doesn't seem bothered though.
That kick from Gribble tenderised Bunter's leg. Bunter is trying to keep his angry face on.
A low kick from Bunter is predictable there
and Gribble counters with a left and a right that stings Bunter.

Gribble closes the distance and pushes Bunter back into the cage.
Gribble lands a nice knee to the body.

Bunter can't break the clinch.
Gribble on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Gribble rushes Bunter and presses him up against the cage.

Gribble breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gribble dances in with a quick combination. Bunter is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Gribble snaps Bunter's head back. Bunter stumbles backwards against the cage. Gribble steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Bunter's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Bunter just didn't come prepared.
