Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Prometheus Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dastan Drake!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf doesn't manage to clinch there - Drake circles away.
Drake has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Wolf is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Wolf shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drake as he jumps to the side.
Prometheus Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wolf fails with the takedown.
Wolf stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wolf wants it to stay on the feet.

Drake looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Drake missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Drake is looking for a kimura here.
Drake slips a nice elbow through Wolf's hands, connecting with Wolf's forehead.

Drake looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wolf keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Drake trying to mount his opponent but Wolf defends it.
Drake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Drake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wolf has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drake has managed to get both his arms back between Wolf's legs - danger averted.

Wolf is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Drake is aware though and is defending well.
Drake postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Drake tries to free his leg and advance position but Wolf is retaining full guard.
Drake postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Wolf looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Drake is working Wolf over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Drake with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Wolf has his foot on Drake's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Drake works his way back into a safe position though.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Drake's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Drake lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Drake postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Wolf covers up, he's hurt! Drake keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Drake and the ref steps in to end the fight! Drake can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dastan Drake!
An out of breath Dastan Drake thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
