Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shavo Odin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shavo Odin! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odin scores with a leg kick.
Miller has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Odin. Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Odin circles away.
Miller looking to score a takedown here. Odin is defending well but Miller drives through and ends up in Odin's guard. Miller wants to pass the guard but Odin is keeping the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Odin holds on and takes a little breather. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Odin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Odin trying to keep a closed guard but Miller is proving a slippery customer.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Shavo Odin wasn't active enough on the ground. The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Miller misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Odin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Odin lands a jab to Miller's midsection. Odin throws a right and a left that both miss. A head kick by Odin misses and Miller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Miller looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Odin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller. Miller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Odin. Miller throws a series of punches but Odin moves out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for Odin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Odin lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like David Miller has been cut. Odin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Miller is breathing heavily. No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Odin rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage. Miller is pressed up against the cage. Odin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Miller down to the mat. Miller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Odin is looking to slow Miller down with leg kicks. Miller tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Odin throws a low kick but Miller moves out of range easily. Odin throws a sloppy head kick and Miller counters with a left and a right that stings Odin. Miller takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A nice leg kick lands there from Odin. Odin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Odin throws a head kick that misses. Odin lands with a thumping leg kick.

Shavo Odin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A solid leg kick lands there for Odin.
Odin connects with a leg kick. Miller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Odin throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily. Odin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odin cracks Miller with a right hand to the side of the head. Odin forces Miller back against the cage and clinches. A short right hand to the side of the head by Odin. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Odin lands on the inside with an uppercut. Odin content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Miller misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Odin.
Odin scores with an uppercut up the middle. Odin just leaning against Miller, taking a breather. I was talking to Miller's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Odin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Both fighters working to control the clinch. Miller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Odin is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Miller is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Odin lands a shoulder strike. Odin cracks Miller with a nice body shot. Odin scores with a shoulder strike. A head punch on the inside from Odin fails to land. Odin has a couple of punches blocked by Miller.
Miller misses with a hook from the clinch. Still in the clinch, Miller scores with a nice short uppercut. Miller misses with an elbow over the top. Miller fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A short right from Odin on the inside. Miller blocks an uppercut.

Shavo Odin dominated that round. The cut man is working on David Miller's cut. That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A low kick from Odin is predictable there and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Odin has Miller pulled in close to control his posture. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Miller trying to control but Odin is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Miller looking to pass the guard. Miller stays in close to Odin's body and controls the position. Miller looking to pass the guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Odin throws the kick towards the body but Miller avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Odin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Miller doesn't seem phased though. Odin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Odin throws out a loose jab but Miller uses good head movement to avoid it. A chopping leg kick lands by Odin. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Odin darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Odin attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Miller walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Odin slips a straight right by Miller. Odin chopping away at his opponent's legs.
